3 Robotics Teams participate at CIT Event
Teams 9942V VMBears, 9942E Roaring Lions and 9942X Nuts and Bolts took part in the DELL VEX semi-finals held in the NEXUS at CIT on Monday 20th January 2020. A special congratulations to the team of 2nd and 3rd years 9942X “Nuts & Bolts” who progressed to the Nationals in February.
Schools’ Golf
Congratulations to Jack Taylor, Keelan McCarthy, Sean Geary and Zak Collins who finished 3rd in the Munster Qualifiers at Fermoy Golf recently. Jack O’Keefe, Stephen Riordan and John Lehane represented Colaiste Choilm in the Irish Schools Junior Golf Qualifiers at Macroom Golf Club on Friday 13th October where they achieved 2nd place.

CCRobotics Club visit ROV Design Centre
In April 2017 CC/GC Robotics Club went on a fascinating trip to visit the Remotely Operated Vehicle Design Centre at ICP NewTech Robotics in Kilbrittain to see the design process and the testing of all-terrain multipurpose ROVs at the site complex.
