For a lunchtime with a difference, during April we had “Angels” hit the boards – written by Pauline McLynn (best known as Mrs Doyle in Father Ted), “Angels” is a dark comedy about a gang of teenagers who meet in a graveyard watched over by a trio of unusual angel statues …
Also runnining was the Drama Club’s performance night. Topping the bill was “Mr Burns” by Senior Drama Club, based on Simpsons stories told by survivors of a nuclear disaster. The show was staged in Halla Phadraig with the work of the Junior Drama Clubs on stage first, followed by “Mr Burns” at 7:45.
